TERMS & CONDITIONS

1.       Delivery is free of charge up to a distance of 10 miles from the Post Code TR15 3EZ. A charge of £5.00 will be applied thereafter. (This charge maybe waived depending on the order size).

2.       Delivery is available at any time on a Sat / Sunday, but can only be carried out between 16:30 and 19:00 during weekdays due to work commitments. Other arrangements may be possible for other times but will involve a further charge.

3.       ORDERING & PAYMENT
I require 2 weeks’ notice to order a celebration cake (sometimes less depending on my workload) and at least 3 months for a wedding cake (again sometimes less depending on my workload and what is required).

4.       For celebration cakes a 50% deposit is payable at the time of confirming order. The deposit is non-refundable, with the balance payable on collection.

5.       For wedding cakes a 50% deposit is payable at the time of booking. The deposit is non-refundable. The balance is payable 14 days before delivery.

6.       Please note that your booking is not a confirmed order until a deposit has been paid and no work will be undertaken until a deposit has been received.

7.       CANCELLATIONS
When ordering your cake you will be required to pay a 50% deposit. This is non-refundable. If you cancel your cake there is a cancellation fee of £10 for celebration cakes and £25 for wedding cakes. If you wish to postpone your cake until a later date or put monies paid towards any future cake order I will waive the cancellation fee.

Please be aware that if you pay for your cake in full at the time of booking and the cake is subsequently cancelled, the maximum refund given will be 50% of the total cost unless, in the case of celebration cakes, a cake is cancelled 7 days or less before the due date then there will be no refund if payment has been made in full.

If a celebration cake is cancelled with more than 7 days to go I will refund up to 50% of the total cost minus a £10 cancellation fee and the cost of any work already undertaken towards your cake. In the case of wedding cakes, if the cake is cancelled one month or less before the due date then there will be no refund if the cake has been paid for in full. If the wedding cake is cancelled with more than one month to go I will refund up to 50% of the total cost minus a £25 cancellation fee and the cost of any work that has already been undertaken towards your cake.

8.       STORAGE
Cakes should be left in a container, or covered at room temperature on a flat surface. Do not refrigerate. It is also not a good idea to store cakes in places such as a garage, conservatory, cellar or cold store or in the kitchen where it could become susceptible to steam, condensation & cooking odours.
